Meeting with representatives of Uzbekistan and the European Union

Тhe Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, held a meeting with Charlotte Adriaen, Head of the Central Asia and Afghanistan Unit at the Directorate-General for International Partnerships of the European Commission (DG INTPA), and Toivo Klaar, Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed the current state and future directions of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the European Union within the framework of ongoing joint projects. Particular attention was given to collaboration in the areas of digitalization, transport, critical raw materials, and water management.
An exchange of views also took place on expanding the partnership through more active use of existing dialogue platforms and business cooperation mechanisms involving the EU, Uzbekistan, and the countries of Central Asia.
The parties reaffirmed their readiness to deepen practical cooperation and continue constructive dialogue across priority areas.
